📌 Claudius Crozet Blue Ridge Tunnel
📍 Afton, Virginia 

🚙 Park at the East or West parking lot 

🥾 Walk the 4.2 mile out and back route. A formerly abandoned train tunnel is now a walking trail.

❣️It’s a fine gravel trail so it’s great for strollers, bikes, wheelchairs, or walking. And it’s great for families and small kiddos. 

🔦 Don’t forget your headlamp or lantern. It’s great exploring the different rock and brick textures and seeing all color variations inside. And there’s even a little waterfall about 1/2 way through. 

🧥 Oh and dont forget your coat! It’s around 50 degrees inside year round.
