📌 Mendota Fire Tower
📍 Lebanon, Virginia 
 (Russell & Washington County Line)

Hike Details:

- 1/2 mile out and back
- 262 feet in elevation; it’s rocky uphill climb most of the way up to the rocky vista 
- 100 foot tall firetower; it is decommissioned which means you can go up it, but you can still enjoy the amazing views for miles and miles from the rocky outcropping
- excellent location for hawk & eagle watching
