📌 Cathedral Falls
📍Gauley Bridge, West Virginia on the north side of the Scenic Byway of route 60

⭐️Know BEFORE You Go:

- no hiking required, it’s a roadside waterfall
- small parking lot, and if you walk just a few steps from the parking lot you can see it. There is a short little walk into the canyon,  across the wooden bridge if you would like to get closer. You can walk right up to it. 
- among the top 3 tallest waterfalls in the state at 60 feet tall. It’s a 100 foot drop over several shale and sandstone ledges with the last drop of 60 feet. 

⭐️⭐️BIG TIP⭐️⭐️

- there’s another waterfall just 3 miles away on the same road (route 60) called Kanawha Falls. There’s a little park and you can get out and walk closer (no hiking required)
