✨A Top Hike in Virginia✨

📌SAVE for future trip planning

💎 A fun family & kid friendly hike. Bikes, strollers & pets are welcomed too! 

🥾Hike Details:

- 2.3 miles out and back 
- 2 parking lots to choose from: east & west entrances
- constructed between 1850 - 1858
- train tunnel was abandoned for many years as a new larger one was built for larger more modern trains on the tracks right next to this one
- it was made into a park for everyone to enjoy! 

🚨Insider TIPS:

- Bring a headlamp or flash light to be able to see inside of the tunnel and explore inside the mountain
- Glow sticks are fun to bring for kids
- Bring a jacket as it is 50° inside the tunnel year round

🗑 Please leave it better than you found it and dispose of all trash properly.
