Shoutout to alyxdaugherty.2025 from #ONEVB17P on her commitment to Fort Lewis College!!

-Alyx chose fortlewisvolleyball because she immediately felt welcomed and valued by the coaching staff along with the players. Plus, the campus and the town are beyond beautiful, and there are so many activities surrounding Durango that make the town easy to live in and exciting.

-Alyx would like to thank Coach Geoff, Coach Kelsey, and Coach Tait. Coach Geoff always supported her when she needed it and has always been there whenever she needed his help with either recruiting, school, volleyball, etc. Coach Kelsey showed her the mindset of a competitor and what it takes to compete. Coach Tait showed her how to be the best version of herself on and off the court and to not take for granted the friendships made through volleyball that will last a lifetime.

-Alyx’s advice to younger athletes: “Be the best version of yourself everyday and HAVE FUN!”
