#COVshoutout to avery_stones5 from #COV16Platinum on her commitment to Kansas State University!!

🔹Avery chose kstatevolleyball for their high level of competition, their commitment to academics, and above all, the people. The K-State coaches and players are committed to character, competition, and connection. The culture at K-State is exactly what Avery was looking for, and she’s so excited to be a Wildcat!

🔹Avery is thankful to her volleyball-loving family who introduced her to the game. She started playing at eight years old, so she has learned from a lot of different coaches and is thankful for all of them. She is particularly grateful to her Perry High School and Club One coaches who gave her a home and helped her transition to a new position. Avery’s entire Club One family has supported her on and off the court, and she is so glad they’ve been part of her journey. She also wants to thank the K-State coaches for believing in her and giving her this opportunity.

🔹Avery’s encouragement to younger athletes: “Be patient, work hard, and be present in the moment. Don’t forget to find joy in the game!"
