CELEBRATING OUR SENIORS

Abbey Klinkhamer, OPP, #COV18Platinum

🔹What has playing at Club One meant to you?
“Club One has completely shaped my volleyball career. It is where I have made some of the most amazing relationships and have grown so much as not only a player, but also a person. I have been lucky to have spent the last 6 seasons with the club.”

🔹What has volleyball taught you?
“Volleyball has taught me so much. It has taught me to never give up and to push through the difficult times. It has taught me to just have fun and enjoy every moment while it lasts. I have also learned how to be a better teammate and build strong relationships.”

🔹What is one of your proudest moments from high school?
“My proudest moment from high school was taking first as the Las Vegas Red Rock Rave tournament this season. It was so amazing to be able to compete and play well together as a team. We had such a fun weekend and really got to see our hard work pay off.”

In her senior year at Highland HS, Abbey received 6A Central Region Honorable Mention recognition, and she was named to the 6A All-Academic 1st Team. On the club side, Abbey and the 18Platinum squad placed first at both the AZ 18s NQ and the Red Rock Rave NQ, double-qualifying for USAV Nationals.
