CELEBRATING OUR SENIORS

Sophie Drollinger, OH, #COV18Platinum

🔹What has playing at Club One meant to you?
“Ever since I started at Club One 2 years ago I’ve met so many amazing people and friendships that will last forever. The coaches are awesome and so welcoming and have gave me so many opportunities. It has always felt like a home to me. Ever since my sister (Jaden, ‘21) started playing here I knew that’s where I wanted to be and I’m so happy that I got the opportunity to play for Club One!”

🔹What has volleyball taught you?
“Volleyball has definitely taught me a lot of things like confidence, perseverance, opportunity but I think most of all how to be a good teammate and how to work together to succeed as a team.”

🔹What are you looking forward to after high school?
“I am so excited to continue my education and volleyball career at Park University and just to keep playing the sport I love. I’m so grateful for this opportunity and just excited to start my college journey!”

In her senior year at Queen Creek HS, Sophie received 6A Central Region Honorable Mention recognition. On the club side, Sophie and the 18Platinum squad placed first at both the AZ 18s NQ and the Red Rock Rave NQ, double-qualifying for USAV Nationals. Sophie will continue her athletic and academic career at Park University Gilbert.
