CELEBRATING OUR SENIORS

Jaiedyn Rankin, OH/DS, #COV18Platinum

🔹What has playing at Club One meant to you?
“I am proud to say I have been with Club One for all 6 years of my club ball career. Wow! 6 years!! We have grown together through my most glorious and silliest years of being a teenager. I can confidently say I am the resilient, well-rounded person I am today because of the positive relationships I have made with my coaches and teammates. Club One will always be my family. :)”

🔹What advice would you share with younger players about being a good teammate?
“My great grandma, who recently entered heaven, would tell me to be the gift who brings joy and laughter to others. Be that gift! You will be faced with a lot of adversity. Things will happen out of your control, but the one thing you can control is your response. Remember to have grace with yourself and others. You are more than just a volleyball player. Most importantly, have fun! Enjoy every second because it goes by fast.”

🔹What are you looking forward to after high school?
“I am very excited to continue my education and play volleyball at Lubbock Christian University. I cannot wait to be surrounded by amazing people that will empower me to always be a better version of myself, who love Jesus, and want to make a difference in the world. I plan on obtaining my Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (RN/BSN) and will also pursue graduate studies. Crazy to think I will be a Texan soon!”

In her senior year at Highland HS, Jaiedyn received 6A Central Region Honorable Mention and 6A All-Academic 1st Team honors. On the club side, Jaiedyn and the 18Platinum squad placed first at both the AZ 18s NQ and the Red Rock Rave NQ, double-qualifying for USAV Nationals. Jaiedyn will continue her athletic and academic career at Lubbock Christian University.
