#COVshoutout to jaiedynrankin from #COV17Gold on her commitment to Lubbock Christian University!!

🔹Jaiedyn chose lcu_volleyball because her goal was to find a Christ-centered school (outside of AZ 😉) and LCU checked every box. She just knew it was special from the moment she arrived on campus, to meeting and learning from Coach Gib and Michal, and making instant friendships with teammates. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. She also enjoyed being able to travel with her family and try different restaurants, visit museums, and drive around checking out homes on Zillow 😆 She had the best experience and she’s excited to call LCU home for the next four years after high school!

🔹For her thank-you’s, Jaiedyn first wants to give all glory to God—she feels blessed that he made her path clear and put the best people in her life. To her family, she loves each and every one of you so much! “Mom and Dad, I could not have done this without your unconditional love and support.” Club One and One Beach have been her second family since day one, and she wants to thank all of her coaches who believed and invested in her. Highland Volleyball….E.L.I.T.E. and A.C.E.S. will forever be in her heart. Thank you to her MOVE family for training her since she started playing. And thank you to her new coaches, Coach Gib and Coach Michal, for giving her the opportunity to live out her college dream!

🔹Jaiedyn's encouragement to younger athletes: “My great-grandma tells me to ‘Be the gift who brings joy and laughter to others.’ Be that gift! And I also believe Club One says it best with ’Trust the process.’ You will be faced with a lot of adversity. Things will happen out of your control, but the one thing you can control is your response. Be a green light player, be reliable and, above all, be coachable. Remember to have grace with yourself and others and keep a positive attitude through thick and thin. Most importantly, have fun! Enjoy every second because it goes by fast.”
