#COVshoutout to nataliamarie11 from #COV17Platinum on her commitment to Walsh University!! 🤩🥳

🔹Natalie chose walshuvolleyball because out of all the campuses she visited, she felt most at home at Walsh. Her family lives in Ohio too, so they can visit her! It's a smaller school so class sizes are smaller—this appealed to her as a student-athlete who will have a busy schedule with constant traveling, because having more opportunity for one-on-one time with professors will help her keep a good balance between academics and athletics.

🔹Natalie would like to thank Coach Jim, Coach Kelsey, and Coach Geoff, along with her parents and all her teammates. She would also like to thank 13Silver and Coach Christy who she had the opportunity to assistant coach last year. They all pushed her to be better in different ways, and each one of them was essential in her journey to becoming a college athlete.

🔹Natalie’s encouragement to younger athletes: "For my youngsters, it's okay if you don't know what you want to do for college. But enjoy your volleyball experience while it lasts so you can make whatever decision you feel most comfortable with in the end. Whether that's continuing with the sport at the next level or just focusing on your academics. Or both.”
