CELEBRATING OUR SENIORS

Bailey Stones, OH, #COV18Gold

🔹What has playing at Club One meant to you?
“Joining a new club my 18s year was so worth it! From the start, the girls were super welcoming. Club One has such a supportive atmosphere, and we push each other to get better every day. I’m so happy that I could finish off my club experience here. The volleyball part was fun but all the in-between moments made it such a special season, from the travel tournament road trips with Yanah and jumping in puddles with Al, to riding the roller coaster as a team and singing in the parking lot after practice. I am so incredibly grateful for my friendships with each of my teammates.”

🔹What is one of your proudest moments from high school?
“I am super grateful that I was able to graduate a semester early! I am also proud of the resilience I have shown through some health challenges this year. It’s been difficult, but that makes the successes all the better.”

🔹What has volleyball taught you?
“Volleyball has always been a part of my life and I’m so grateful for all the lessons it has taught me. I’ve learned to put in the work and to set my standards high. I’ve learned to have confidence no matter the circumstance or opposition. I’ve learned the importance of relying on teammates and building relationships. Lastly, I’ve learned that I have a true love for this crazy, awesome sport.”

In her senior year at Queen Creek HS, Bailey and her team advanced to the quarterfinals of the 6A state tournament. On the club side, Bailey and the 18Gold squad placed second at the Fiesta Classic and later became the first Gold-level team in club history to earn a bid to USAV Nationals.
