Rhythms of Comedy Episode 6: FLEABAG
.
People talk about Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s talent as a writer, but she is also an amazing performer! Check out how she varies her rhythms, accelerating and decelerating to build tension until she crashes down at her final point: Hair. Is. Everything.
.
The scene also makes great use of dynamics and space – with the dialogue starting off loud, then getting quiet, then crescendoing again. It’s gripping TV! siansstillspace is fantastic
.
People are saying the drums make everything sound like Hamilton, pretty cool right?
