Temple Women’s Basketball opens its American Athletic Conference tournament tomorrow! The Owls, who earned the No. 4 seed, play the winner between No. 5 Tulsa and No. 12 Charlotte in the quarterfinals.

A win would push them into the semifinals for a second straight year. Guards Tiarra East and Tariyonna Gary are fresh off first-team all conference selections and guard Kaylah Turner was named the sixth player of the year.

“Going into the tournament, this is the thick of it,” Richardson said. “Everybody’s kind of stepped up their game. We talk about playing together and winning together because that’s what’s going to take.”
