NBA star @mkg14 spoke to future and current speech-language pathologists at St. Ambrose about his experiences surrounding stuttering and the creation of his non-profit, Change and Impact. Since 2020, Kidd-Gilchrist has shifted his focus to advocacy for stuttering intervention research and speech therapy insurance coverage.

The RiteCare Clinic, operated by the SAU Master of Speech-Language Pathology program, is the only clinic in Iowa that provides free speech-language pathology services for children and adults.
