## Caption

A lawsuit filed by the SPLC and partners last year on behalf of #PrinceGeorgesCounty, #Maryland, residents alleged that the county's 2021 redistricting plan violates the “one person, one vote” principle of the U.S. Constitution by creating districts with unequal populations. The U.S. District Court has decided to uphold the map.

The SPLC is disappointed, but our commitment to #FairRepresentation for Prince George’s County residents has not changed. We are carefully reviewing the court’s opinion and evaluating our options going forward.
