Twenty-year-old #Tuscaloosa, #Alabama, native CJ Jones turned the hardest moment of his life into a fight for justice for students across the state.

In 2022, Jones was forced out of his high school and denied a college scholarship due to a lopsided and unjust disciplinary system. He has now helped pass #HB188, which allows Alabama students to appeal school punishments and have legal representation — a right he never had.
