## Caption

Renaming, removing and replacing U.S. military assets that honor Confederates is not erasing history – it's being true to history.

With people of color making up nearly half of the U.S. armed services, no American should be asked to serve in a military that honors treason and the very institution that fought to maintain slavery.

The Confederacy has no place in our communities – nor our U.S. military.
