“But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” - Isaiah 40:31

January 2024: Ran my most confident marathon to date. Signed up for Ogden marathon in May.

February 2024: Got a respiratory something that hung on for months.

March 2024: Started an anxiety med that gave me several different side effects that continued making running difficult.

April 2024: Got e.coli and salmonella from contaminated cilantro (but it was in India so worth it), got bit by a dog (didn’t really impact running but fun plot twist), lost my job (because why not?), and stopped taking medication that was quite literally burning my flesh off 🙈

May 2024: Ran the Ogden Marathon 12k and saw some light at the end of the hard running tunnel. Then life blew up in my face and we promptly returned to the fetal position.

June 2024: Rage ran on and off for weeks, and now finally back to light at the end of the bad running tunnel.

July 4, 2024: Signed up for my favorite Layton Liberty Days 5k because it’s the race I’m never in shape for but love the most. Excited to see what fitness I can build off 10 more days of consecutive training 🇱🇷
