The Skiing Cochrans strike again!!!! CONGRATS RYAN!!!! 💚🎉✨

This morning, our beloved Richmond skier rc.s won his second Olympic Super-G silver! Ryan brought home his first medal in 2022 and stunned our community again with his historic race.

🎿 This world champion hails from the famous Skiing Cochrans family, who founded cochransskiarea and produced 6 Olympians in one family. Ryan’s mom won Olympic gold in 1972, and 50 years later, her son brought home the next family medal. It was incredible to watch him claim his second silver!

💫 I took these photos during the 2022 Olympic parade in Richmond. It was such a beautiful day of celebrating Ryan’s first medal. I’ll never forget the pure joy and overwhelming pride radiating from our neighborhood!

⭐️ Yesterday, two other Vermont skiers also won their first Olympic medals. Congrats to ben.0gden on his XC skiing silver and paulamoltzan on her Alpine skiing bronze!! Our community is beyond proud of our world-class athletes!!!

☃️ Stay tuned for (hopefully) more medals this winter and details about upcoming Olympian parades. Let’s hear it for our neighbors!!!!
