Stop scrolling for a few moments and rest with me in the forest ✨

Vermont is experiencing the snowiest winter in recent history. We’re currently getting another 8-12 inches, which makes us snow bunnies totally giddy. There’s literally nothing as refreshing as spending time in nature with fresh powder. I’ll take snowflakes over black flies any day!

🌲 Have you heard of forest bathing? This Japanese concept (shinrin-yoku) has become a popular mindfulness practice and health ritual. It’s simple: spend time in nature and take in the forest atmosphere. That’s it. It’s an easy way to connect with the environment around you.

❄️ Decades of research has shown that forest bathing can boost your immune system, lower blood pressure, and improve mental health. From my own experience, I feel like a new person after spending slow, quiet time in the woods. Forest bathing is even more powerful when you add magical snow swirling around you!

🦋 There are only 2 things you need to start forest bathing: warm layers and the right attitude. I hope to see you outside this winter!
