The Northern Lights arrived to remind us that pure love and light are everywhere 💙

Last night, Mother Nature decided to host a quick Galentine’s party. The Aurora has surprised me 5 times this year, but I never thought I’d witness this miracle from my backyard. Nature has a way of spreading love when it’s needed the most. 

I wouldn’t have witnessed this if an upsetting phone call hadn’t forced me outside to ponder life. Thick clouds blanketed the sky and there wasn’t an ounce of light to be seen. No stars or rising full moon anywhere. 

🦋 Out of literally nowhere, a neon blue triangle appeared in the clouds. My brain went fuzzy and tried to rationalize it… obviously it’s the moon rising behind the clouds, right? But I was facing west and the moon always rises in the east. So what was causing this bright blue light behind the clouds? 

⭐️ I don’t know for sure if this was the Aurora. But I do know that I’ve never ever witnessed neon blue breaking through a dark, cloudy night. During my previous Aurora sightings, I could hardly see the colors with my naked eyes. My photos have been leagues beyond what my eyes saw. But last night was the most vivid, neon color I’ve seen. 

💫 This is now the second time Mother Nature has surprised me with light during a time of darkness. I chased my first 3 Auroras and was lucky to witness the miracle. But in October and again last night, the Aurora appeared when I was outside processing emotions, like a message from the divine. 

If you want to witness natural phenomenons, spend more time outside and look up to the sky for answers. Mother Nature has infinite love to give, if we’re able to open our eyes and receive it.
