It starts with 9.5 yards, the length of a single saree.

A collectible furniture collection by Suchi Reddy and the century-old atelier Ekaya Banaras, Nine.5 draws its name from that measure and its shapes from the way the cloth falls and moves across the body. Each piece is wrapped in hand-woven Banarasi silk, and the custom fabrics carry a reference to the zero, the numeral first written into mathematics in India in 628.

Nine.5 is a tribute to Indian craft, reimagined for the way we live now.
