A serene retreat with spectacular Central Park Views. 🌿

For this 1,275 square foot apartment, Reddymade transformed the space from a two-bedroom to a one-bedroom layout, creating a larger living area and an office that perfectly suits our client's needs.

The design focused on maximizing the light and views and enhancing the proportions of the space with carefully chosen textures and materials.

Clad in a sculptural paper surface that offers acoustic properties, the entry foyer immediately establishes the feeling of calm that carries over throughout the space.

The open living, dining and kitchen areas are all oriented towards the apartment’s spectacular views. The open kitchen is centered around a sculptural stone block that hides the cooktop and provides storage and seating, while a long comfortable banquette is set up at the windows on the park as a conversational space with a view.

To maximize ceiling height, we chose innovative lighting that fits in the depth of the ceiling finish and creates architectural parentheses that help to define the separate uses of the large open space.

Rich materials, soft textures and minimal detailing combine with this residence’s spectacular views of trees and sky to create a tranquil and soothing Zen-like retreat.
