If you don’t have love for your family, you don’t have anything at all🙌🏾🙂‍↔️✨

A word from those who first taught me to carry on the legacy of our ancestors . . . my built-in best friends 💛

A Gem: a while ago, after losing our aunts, I asked my dad what were the nicknames he called his sisters. He answered, “Polly, Titi, Danya and Minnie (haha).” He loved his sisters more than anything, and losing them hit him hard. So by naming the papers after his sisters, it would be a way to return a bit of their light - and his - by honoring their legacy through the love he shared with them✨

And so, we traveled here to Loíza so I could tell him the meaning of the papers when I revealed them to him for the first time.

Creating this wallpaper collection was has been one of the most emotional discoveries of my adult life. But seeing what this collection - the designs and their names - means to my parents makes my heart happier than words in any language allow me to express!

A collection designed for connection, through love, honor and appreciation for those who first taught us the meaning of love 💛
