I’m still on a high from the energy at #BlavityFest!!

Who would have thought that showing up as myself and sharing my love of joy, and bringing joy to others would lead me to having MY OWN SESSION?!

Y’all, it’s just that I really love people. And over the years, Hosting has become a way of me showing others that love, through the gift of preparation, creativity and the exchange of life’s greatest gift - time. And through this session, you allowed me to share a recipe we can all use and personalize to show our friends just how much we love them!

I’m not gonna lie, I was so nervous, y’all! But, from the moment I stepped on stage, the energy in the room felt like a loving embrace that initiated an atmosphere of fun!

Y’ALL made The Art of Hosting a success, and I couldn’t be more grateful!

We even got to dance!

To my friends at ikea | ikeausa, thank you for your partnership in providing us with everything we needed to create a BEAUTIFUL tablescape, and allowing us to gift those items to some lucky attendees!

To the entire blavity crew - y’all are EVERYTHING! morgandebaun, thank you for creating something where we can share and celebrate as community! And thejoshuashaw, thank you for the pep talk before the session - it was exactly what was needed!

And to jurneekelley and Andrew . . . I couldn’t have done any of this without y’all, and I’m always grateful for you and the fact I can build with friends!

Feliz sábado, y’all! And in the world we live in today, let’s create more opportunities to share the love we have for each other 🫶🏾💛✨ #DavidQuarlesIV | #ChooseJoy
