Whenever I find extra time in my schedule, I know a wave of work is on the horizon. So, I lean into moments like this - to recharge before it’s time to lock in.

Mondays are my off days - a buffer to avoid the Sunday Scaries and a chance to pour into myself so I can pour into the world.

Here’s my routine:
• Start the day with a musical genre that embodies how I want to feel. I’ve been loving Latin Jazz as of late!
• I like to *immediately* straighten my bed to reward myself the first accomplishment of the day.
• A dental and facial routine keeps my youth close and ashiness far away 😅
• Since I experience S.A.D., I open every curtain and turn on small lights to soak in the day’s light and recharge mine
• Coffee, breakfast, and gratitude logging all leads up to me being able to hone in on needed inspiration to pour beauty into the world through design. *Cue home bathroom renovation*!

And the pushups? I do 36 - one for each year of life + an extra for the next. 💁🏾‍♂️

Intention. Rest. Gratitude. My themes for the year. And remembering to love me as much as I love others will keep me on track.

Feliz Wednesday, gente bella! What’s your go-to morning ritual? #DavidQuarlesIV | #ChooseJoy
