Soft launch of my next home project?😅

With the dining room complete and soon to be revealed (later than September, but sooner than spring summer) it’s time to focus on the redesign of what has been redubbed my sitting room; starting with a coffee table I’ve been eyeing for sometime now!

The old one and I had a good run. Pero, ‘twas time for a change!

Y’all know I LOVE terrazzo! And with breathing more of a Midcentury Modern aesthetic into this space, this was the perfect piece to start with. The “mint-chocolate”, stone inlay design and magazine rack make this table a DREAM!

Next up:
• Switching out the light fixture and rug.
• Building a more sustainable rod system for the curtains, and switching them out for a . . . neutral😅
• Commissioning a media unit reminiscent of #mcm shelving
• Rehousing some of my plants to Greenhouse IV, and . . .
• Finding a new home for my Ekaabo chairs🥹🫶🏾
(You should see what we have coming in their place 😏)
• 🗣️The button sofa stays!

The goal for this space is to make it feel like the after party lounge of Casa IV.

Feliz Friday, y’all! And remember my favorite lesson, as we and our style continue to evolve, our environment’s energy can evolve with us!

Y’all ready for this design ride? #DavidQuarlesIV | #ChooseJoy
