As we get ready to usher in my favorite season at the end of the week, I thought it’s high time to celebrate the one year anniversary of Cocina IV ☀️

As a designer who loves ever-changing surroundings, it feels great to still love a space, even after the passing of time! My love of my kitchen simply reassures me that every decision made while designing this space - from the terrazzo countertops and chartreuse wall tiles, to the never-empty medicine cabinet and sunshine yellow floors - proved true to fulfilling my vision for my life with intention✨

A space created to encapsulate the nostalgic joy of eternal summer, I can say that with relearning this corner of my home over the year, Cocina IV continues to be a place where I can readily #ChooseJoy from sunrise to sunset!

And I will never take for granted that MY wallpaper is a design element that further breathes legacy into my home.

Feliz Monday, y’all! Make sure to swipe to the end to see how things started - you’re in for a surprise for how it looked before! And to read more on everything it takes to renovate a kitchen, tap the link in my stories💛

Now let the countdown to summer begin! #DavidQuarlesIV
