For me, it’s the start of a new week which means I need to make sure my cup is full so I can pour from a place of abundance, and not scarcity.

Life as a creative business owner can lead to moments of feeling burnt out and/or forgetting the value of our voice and work. To help avoid that feeling at all costs - although it creeps up on the best of us - I aim to start my weeks slowly by doing things that allow my mind to wander positively.

With spring here for the week 😅 I now love spending more hours outside and in my greenhouse as I ready my plant bbs to make their full outdoor debut! And once I finish nourishing them, I make sure to do the same for my mind by planning how I’ll accomplish goals - and self care - for the week.

Writing down my tasks at the top of the week is like a brain dump that replaces worry with a sense of duty to accomplish!

And I promise y’all, I took my chanclas off to ground myself for the day✨

Feliz Tuesday, y’all! Just like anything else, planning our joy is just as important as planning our to do list💛 #DavidQuarlesIV | #ChooseJoy

P.S. What if I had a platform where I could share how pouring into ourselves allows us to pour into our communities?
