The other day, I got a chance to speak a little bit as to why I like to celebrate the mundane - because why not add #asenseofhappy to your day to day?☀️✨

One of my favorite ways of doing that waking up a little earlier in the morning to let the sunshine in, turning my music up, while going around my home to do plant maintenance.

The older I get, the more I value the joys of the journey rather than just the end result. And instead of focusing on the stressors a day can bring, the goal is to give more energy to the light found in each 24hrs . . . even if it means creating the light myself.

You know, making each day . . . Worth it!
(See what I did there)💅🏾✨😅

Feliz Friday, y’all! What are some ways you like to celebrate the simple things in life? #DavidQuarlesIV | #ChooseJoy

P.S. I may have misted a bit too much this time around. Bonus: my house smells like mint and my plants are pest free 💁🏾‍♂️
