I am MORE than excited to announce that . . . I’ve designed rugs together with ruggable and archdigest!

And today, I want to introduce you to La Joie! La Joie, or “joy” in French, is the celebration of an ancestral narrative often overlooked: Joy we got to experience . . . because we created it from our light from within!

Through visual storytelling, I recount the stories of the happiness celebrated through my ancestors’ love of nature, dance and balance! And you see the sun and moon? The figures holding each one represents the dreams experienced at night 🌙 coming to beautiful fruition through what’s done during the day☀️

The Ruggable x Architectural Digest collection introduces new Tufted Rugs - which are 3 times thicker than their Flatwoven Rugs. This means you can comfortably lay on this rug to be inspired through joy all day long 💁🏾‍♂️

To alevasseur1 and the whole AD team, thank you for this dream opportunity!

Feliz Thursday, y’all! Linked in my stories, the rugs are now available online! And tomorrow, I’ll introduce you to Nerissa . . . my second rug design that celebrates two worlds beautifully colliding! #davidquarlesiv #choosejoy
