My parents’ reaction to seeing the primary bedroom design for real_simple home featured on openhousetv . . .

Y’all, this opportunity alone has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my personal and professional life! I’m forever grateful for everything I’ve learned, and the doubts overcame while designing this space - and the connections made!

But the real reward . . . seeing my parents see the space in motion for the first time, especially my mom’s reaction to seeing Ruth’s Garden - in celebration of her mom - displayed in this space!

They continue to be my ‘why’, and witnessing this reaction . . . To say my heart is full is an understatement, y’all! This is the real celebration🥹🫶🏾💛

To all, una muy buena noche! #davidquarlesiv #choosejoy
