After two-weeks away in two-destinations, the time it takes to travel can wear you out! Since I like to e-a-s-e back into daily activity after travel, here are a few post-trip tips that help me make the transition to reality a bit easier✨

• I choose early departures so I can get home in time to enjoy the evening. Once home, I immediately unpack and wash my clothes so I won’t have that task lingering through the week.

• Before leaving, I clean the house thoroughly or arrange for the house to be cleaned the day I come home so I won’t feel overwhelmed after a peaceful time away; because there’s nothing like coming home to a clean house!

• While awaiting baggage, I put in a food delivery order to have it meet me when I get home. Travel makes me hungry, y’all💁🏾‍♂️

• And to close the evening, I unwind by lighting incense and sipping on something nice while I do a brain dump to outline tasks for the week ahead. If possible, I try to schedule the next day to be off so I can fully recoup!

Feliz Friday, y’all! With travel season still going strong, what are some of your favorite ways to unwind after a trip? #davidquarlesiv #choosejoy
