Recently, I gifted myself the samsungus #frametv - I’ve wanted one for some time now! After installing it, I noticed my gallery wall lacked umph! Since I’d gotten a few new art pieces for my home I’ve been wanting to display - especially since I had a shoot to get my home ready for - it was time I finally got this gallery wall together!

First, I laid all of my art out on the floor and played with placement and spacing in inches. Then, after taking the measurements and using the TV and my all-time favorite textile art piece I got from the #artdash event as the anchor pieces, I was able to quickly plan out the entire wall based on the art I had available!

Gallery walls are a beautiful way to display your personality through art! And, you don’t just have to use paintings or photographs. Displaying masks, woven baskets, beads, and other items you hold sacred make for the perfect gallery wall additions!

And your frames can differ in shape, size and color! In fact, that gives your gallery wall a collected look and feel!

I used to be afraid of planning and installing gallery walls! In fact, my first interior design job for my business was a gallery wall plan!😅 But now, I love bringing them to life because they truly celebrate the layers in a space’s design and in who we are as people!

Feliz Monday, y’all! And remember, the art in your home should follow one rule - that it makes you happy🫶🏾💛✨ #davidquarlesiv #choosejoy
