A few months ago, an amazing family, who have now become friends, contacted us because they wanted their home to reflect the places they’ve visited and cultures they’ve experienced!

With their style defined, and finding functional yet aesthetically pleasing storage solutions as a request, one of the first spaces we created for them was this dreamy boho chic hallway!

To touch all points of texture, pattern, color and life, the walls were treated in turquoise lime wash, we brought in textural art, bold print rugs, and of course, PLANTS!🙌🏾

For beautiful storage solutions, we used a bookcase at the entry to store and conceal shoes, while giving them surface space to place a catch-all bowl and display some of their beautiful ceramics and florals!

And for cuteness overload, their pup HAD to make an appearance 💁🏾‍♂️!

With only a few more touches to go in this and the other spaces, Project Nola has been a dream come true! We got a chance to create in a magical and familial city while receiving the best hospitality imaginable! We can’t thank the homeowners enough 🙌🏾

Feliz Wednesday, y’all! Remember, our homes are a reflection of who we beautifully are! So why not fill it with the things and people we love the most?🫶🏾 #davidquarlesiv #interiordesigner #choosejoy

P.S. And if y’all thought I was going to leave without placing a disco ball 🪩, are we even cousins here?😅

P.P.S. Stay tuned for more reveals from this project! Wouldn’t a T.V. show of us traveling while designing be a vibe, netflix?
