Y’all, this weekend was more than my heart had prepared for! I was brought to Palm Springs by chasingpaper to celebrate our collection launch TOGETHER 🥹🙌🏾.

And while there, I got to stay at the ICONIC acehotelpalmsprings - literally a dream of mine since wanting to visit Palm Springs: my dream destination since it is the home of my favorite design style, mid century modern!

With balancing work, the collection release and getting ready to close out a larger project, my soul needed to rest a bit.

Between the sun, plants and palm trees, being surrounded by art and gazing upon the clouds dancing around the majestic mountains, this was the extended pause my mind, body and soul has yearned for! I mean, do y’all see that VIEW?!

And the best part about this trip: I got to spend time with my brother - and this was our soundtrack for the days!🙌🏾😅

To the Chasing Paper team - my heart thanks you far more than the words I can form! For creating and holding space for me and allowing me to connect with a new, beautiful community!

Feliz Wednesday, y’all! And here’s to more moments of loving time with yourself so you can love even harder on your tribe!🌴 #davidquarlesiv #davidquarlesivxchasingpaper #choosejoy

P.S. just as with every part of California I visit, I’ve left a piece of my heart in Palm Springs and CAN’T WAIT to get back! Cali is starting to look real good on me!

P.P.S. My robe matched the vibe of the hotel-provided robes, and we may or may not have walked through Amigo Room in them 💁🏾‍♂️
