In anticipation of a few major renovations headed for #CasaIV, I took the weekend to tackle one of the smaller projects on my list: shine a little light on my art passway!

See what I did there?💁🏾‍♂️

What was once an awkward area in my home now houses art from some of my favorite artists, and all from Memphis! And to better feature to key pieces, I decided to install these picture lights above them!

Here’s howI did it! By centering the bracket 3-3.5 inches above your artwork. After making sure the bracket it level, secure it with the provided anchors and screws, then slide on the fixture. Et voilà 💁🏾‍♂️✨

I love that these lights are rechargeable LEDs rather than hardwired fixtures. And with the remote, you can set them on a timer - or simply cut them on or off.

This simple and cost-effective update is just another layer to helping me create the vibe I’ve always dreamed of for my home - while better showcasing my beloved art collection . . . and saving funds for those larger projects 😅

Bon mardi, y’all! As I like to often say, it doesn’t take much to bring about beautiful and impactful change - in our homes and in our lives - when done with intention✨ #davidquarlesiv #interiordesigner #choosejoy

P.S. y’all know I linked the lights for us in stories! Should I place one over my large portrait?

P.P.S. Y’all wanna guess what else is about to change about this space? Clue: a lot more sunlight will be pouring in ☀️
