Y’all, because the schedule has been BUSY, some areas of my home haven’t seen the attention they deserve . . . and the other day when I decided to do a home workout, I found out my beloved #GYMIV - a space you’ve not seen a lot of - is one of those areas!🙈

If you’ve been here a while, you know this is the space my parents and I lovingly and carefully built together during the height of the “pon de river”. Yes, with our bare hands, we built this building from a carport. So seeing it in this condition was unacceptable! I mean, even my plant bbs in here moved on to the next plant realm😩

I had to do something!

With a little - ok, a lot - of elbow grease, I restored GYM IV to its originally glory; cleaning and reorganizing the space to suit my current needs, adding an updated sound system, and . . . yes, replacing my old plants (some survived and are in my plant PT area now😅)

With projects getting ready to rev up around the house, I NEEDED my active sanctuary clear. And I’m glad it is now 🙌🏾

Feliz Friday, y’all! And may this be a little motivator to tackle that clean up project you’ve been putting off for some time now - you know the one 👀 But, of course, make it FUN!🫶🏾💛 #davidquarlesiv #interiordesigner #choosejoy
