And now, for the details💁🏾‍♂️✨

The homeowner wanted a collected, but not cluttered, feel for this room. So, with incorporating items such as her vintage sofa, coffee table and endless amounts of beautiful books - and plants, I simply added colors, textures and additional furnishings and accessories to match vibe and era of the home!

Another request for this space was the balance of masculine and feminine energies. Wrapping the room in this a deep, moody gray, while adding pops of color and softer textures throughout, the synergy in the room was flowing✨

Last but not least, there was an issue with an AC wall unit that has to stay for now. So, instead of leaving it visible, we built a platform using a barn door track, mounted a piece of INSANELY gorgeous artwork from two, local artists, et voilà. When the unit it use, the painting slides to the side. And when not, this bb hides 💁🏾‍♂️ (do we say “bars” anymore? 😅)

Feliz Friday, y’all! And remember, our spaces are our personal love letters to where we are in life, the joy we feel, and the love we have for ourselves. So why not beautifully curate our homes with what we personally love? #davidquarlesiv #interiordesigner #choosejoy
