Each project I get to work on becomes my favorite for their very own reasons. But project #midcenturymodernabode stole my heart!

When asked to transform this client’s sitting room in her new home, the assignment was to create a space that felt like her very own lounge and speakeasy. A place where she could settle in for the evening after a long day of work, host a group of friends for dinner and cocktails, or simply a space where she could snuggle up with a good book on those lazy Saturday mornings🌿

And y’all know how much I love mid-century modern design! So, getting a chance to preserve and re-imagine so many of these CLASSIC #mcm details, making the space exude the client’s personality and style was an experience I’ll cherish forever! And yes, we even incorporated a disco ball 💁🏾‍♂️🪩 ✨

Swipe through to check out how everything looked before, and how with love and intention, the space was curated to celebrate this client’s (and my friend’s) new chapter in life!

For her, this is her dream home . . . and for me, this project was an honor.

Feliz Thursday, y’all! And may we all continue to carve out spaces in this world that make us feel as beautiful as we are 🫶🏾✨ #davidquarlesiv #interiordesigner #choosejoy

P.S. tomorrow, we’ll cover the details 💁🏾‍♂️
Just know I lowered my voice and listen an eyebrow when saying “details” 😅
