## Caption

For a while now, I’ve been thinking that this painting against my hand-painted wall needed something to break up all the colors, and a float frame was just that needed element of contrast.

As my dad says, “the worst part about something is thinking about it”. So after a little procrastination, I finally made it!

This painting to me is my most-cherished; it represents my heritage, my love of community and my passion for dance and music, which drives my creativity🌿

In my stories, I’m sharing the blogpost that covers the step-by-step process. But for now, let’s get into this process and classic bop our midweek #vibecheck! ✨🕺🏽

Feliz Wednesday, y’all! And may our lights shine even brighter today! #davidquarlesiv #interiordesigner #choosejoy
