Embark on a nostalgic journey and relish the cherished moments at the Castle Theater in Universal Studios Hollywood. From 1983 to 1993, this distinguished venue enchanted audiences with the captivating Conan: A Sword and Sorcery Spectacular show.

Throughout the years, the Castle Theater continued to shine, hosting various shows, including Cinemystique: Illusions of the Night (1994), Beetlejuice's Rockin' Graveyard Revue (1995-1999), Spider-Man Rocks! (2002-2004), Fear Factor Live! (2005-2008), Creature from the Black Lagoon: The Musical (2009), and Special Effects Stages (2010-2023). It was a vibrant hub of creativity, staging live performances and captivating events such as beauty pageants, The Rosie O’Donald show (in L.A.), and many more. 

Although it saddens us to announce its impending demolition, take solace in the fact that its space will be transformed into an exhilarating new rollercoaster inspired by the Fast & Furious franchise.

As part of Universal's Location and Production Services department, this marketing brochure was produced in 1989, enticing filmmakers to consider the theme park as a backdrop for their projects. It showcases the incredible potential and versatility of Universal Studios Hollywood as a filming location.
