If you grew up in Metro Detroit, there’s a 99% chance you’ve had a Tubby’s Sub in your lifetime… and if you haven’t, I’m honestly concerned for your childhood. 😂
Tubby’s has been a Detroit staple for almost 60 years, still serving the same crave-worthy subs we all grew up on — powered by that legendary Tubby’s Famous Dressing that belongs in the Smithsonian. 🥪🔥

The Steak & Cheese Sub? Still undefeated.
The Grilled Chicken Sub? A sleeper hit every time.
But my all-time favorite — the Tubby’s Famous Sub — stacked with cotto salami, hard salami, ham, cheese, onions, lettuce, and tomatoes. That’s the flavor combo that raised me. I’ve been eating this since malls had arcades and Blockbuster existed. 👴🏾📼

And don’t sleep on the breaded sausage & cheese ravioli — easily one of the best sides you can get anywhere. Yes, I said it. Yes, I stand on business. 🤌🏾🔥

Whether you’re reliving the nostalgia or introducing someone to a Detroit OG, Tubby’s is still that spot.
