So I took a sushi-making class at one of my favorite spots—Tigerlily Ferndale—and let’s just say, I may not be a sushi artist… but I’m definitely a sushi enthusiast. THIS IS SO FUN!

Held inside the vibey Mai Tiki bar, the class included food tastings, sake flights, and a whole lot of me pretending I knew what I was doing. Shoutout to Chef Ivan for making it all look easy—because it’s not.

Was my sushi the prettiest? No.
Was it delicious? ABSOLUTELY.
We even ended with ice cream. 10/10 date night or fun-with-friends idea.

📍 231 W Nine Mile Rd, Ferndale, MI 48220
