I think this is wildly embarrassing for the Tom Tiffany campaign.

If you’re going to raise questions about a potential conflict of interest involving Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley and Community Advocates, there should be something behind them.

Crowley says his wife’s employment was disclosed, the county’s relationship with the organization predates his administration, and the funding went through the proper approval process.

Ask hard questions. Investigate legitimate concerns. But bringing someone’s spouse into a campaign narrative when the paper trail is already there feels a lot more like politics than accountability.
