## Caption

A closeup on the Davis Needle, an obelisk comprised completely of bike parts between UC Davis campus and downtown Davis. Though this is the centerpiece of the Third Street improvement project, the new street section also features safer routes for bikers and pedestrians, new lighting, bike racks, benches, and information kiosks.
