Employee Spotlight: Meet Chris, Our Maintenance Supervisor

When it comes to keeping Carolina Skiff moving, Chris is one of the key people making it happen. For almost 7 years, he has been an essential part of Team Skiff, helping ensure our boat-building operations run efficiently every single day.

Managing maintenance across a large, multi-building manufacturing facility is a tremendous responsibility. From production equipment to plant systems to tools, machinery and facility infrastructure, there are countless components that must perform reliably to support the construction of every boat that leaves our facility. Chris takes the challenge head-on.

His work goes far beyond fixing equipment when something breaks. Chris leads preventive maintenance efforts, coordinates repairs and upgrades, responds to production issues, and helps keep our manufacturing environment safe and operating at peak performance. His proactive approach helps reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and keep our production teams focused on what they do best – building quality boats.

In a fast-paced manufacturing environment, Chris is a steady and dependable leader who is always willing to jump in wherever needed. His knowledge, dedication, and commitment to excellence play a major role in keeping our operations running smoothly and our production schedules on track.

We are incredibly thankful for Chris and the hard work he puts in every day. His contributions often happen behind the scenes, but the impact he has on our team and our success is impossible to miss. Thank you, Chris, for everything you do for Carolina Skiff!
