It marked the end of an era when chef Luciano DelSignore announced the closing of Bacco, the Southfield mainstay he'd opened more than 20 years ago.

DelSignore said he closed the Italian restaurant to allocate his time to exciting new projects. In June, more than two years after the announcement, DelSignore opened e Fiori in Birmingham, an Italian restaurant that greets diners with an enchanting florist at its foyer. True to DelSignore’s promise, e Fiori is at once exciting and new.
