"After I had my kids, I forced myself to accept my body the way it had become. But the truth is: I looked at the mirror and I couldn’t recognize myself. I learned to love that person but that wasn’t me. I worked out everyday and, still, I didn’t have any energy. My relationship with my kids was being harmed because I felt drained all the time. My husband told me about PHD and I decided to give it a chance after I had COVID. The disease made me realize I needed to take care of myself. On my first visit to PHD, I watched all those videos about people that successfully lost weight and I started crying. I was so convinced my body was supposed to be that way that I couldn’t believe it was possible for me to do the same. After 20 weeks in the program, I dropped 40 pounds and today I weight the same I use to before I had my kids. There’s still some work to do but I learned that everything is possible, as long as you have focus and really know what you want for your life. Recognizing myself again is priceless! Having the energy to play with my kids, be there for them no matter what, is something I can’t even describe! I’ll always be grateful to my PHD team for being so incredible and never let me give up!"⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
